I dreamt about a close guy friend of mine twice already during this week. In the dream, we confessed our love to each other then kissed. In the second dream my bf found out and I felt quite guilty. I have been together with my bf for two and a half years! Recently, I'm unsure of my love towards my bf. But I just keep hanging on just in case i made a mistake about my feelings. I also think about my close friend quite often during the day. I think I might have feelings for him but I'm not sure. Do you think this means my feelings have changed? Please answer. Thanks

I think you've already answered this question for yourself dear, you aren't sure of your love toward your boyfriend, and you are developing feelings for a close friend which are confusing the situation. I took a quick peek at your questions, and saw one where you were asking for advice on what prom dress to buy, so I am guessing your age at around 17. Two and half years is a really long relationship at your age. You're still a teenager, and you have come through many changes in that period of time. It is possible you have outgrown your relationship with your boy friend, and it may be time for you to move on. This is a decision only you can make. Take your time about it, you feel guilt about it because you still have feelings for your boyfriend, and because you know how much it would hurt him if you broke up with him. You shouldn't hang on to a relationship if it has truly run it's course just because you don't want to hurt him, though. You will both be hurt far more in the end, if you do, and if you continue this relationship and get married even if you don't think he is "the one", you will be doing both of you a disservice in the end. You will need to do some soul searching on the nature of your relationship with each of these boys, how they act toward you, what sort of things you have in common, if you share the same outlook towards the world and things like that........ You also may be hanging on to the "bird in the hand" because you aren't sure if your "close friend" would like to take the relationship to the next level. If you want to take that relationship to the next level, you have to be willing to take the risk that he might not feel likewise. It's possible that he is not pursuing the next level with you, because he is standing aside so as not to interfere with your relationship to your boyfriend. Maybe it's time to ask your boyfriend to take a break from the relationship, and date other people for awhile, so you can be more sure of your feelings........

Of course your feelings have changed. Dreams are a way of your unconcious thoughts coming out in the open.
You dont actually want to admit it to yourself, so your mind is blocking off the fact.

Yes. You seem to be playing out possibilities in your dreams. Maybe more dream encounters will help you to sort this out, or you might try talking to your close friend and see what sparks may fly....?

You've probably been thinking about him recently is all. Don't fret. It doesn't mean your in love with him but that you like him alot and that you worry about him.
