No one should be calling out any group of people; most people who will post, read their responses with an open mind; you will find that the ones who don't believe, attack, criticize and belittle others and that common thread in this posting and others are why they don't have faith; look what flows out from within them. With a few easy keystrokes, they think it is okay to barrage someone with insults, comments and ridicule and hence why they are non-believers, no room for anything good until they clean out the bad.

I know my faith is not wishful thinking. It's a gift form Jesus. I have faith because of the Lord who died for me. Now I ask you this, Why wouldn't I have faith in God? It would be silly if I didn't don't you think?

Good question. The entire basis of the Christian faith is truth. Sweep away all wishful thinking about having a purpose in life without God for example:

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell

The Christian life encourages a harsh reality about our inner motives:

There is none good save God alone.

When I pray for the circumstances that many told me "That is impossible to just drop it and get on with Your life." And after 5 years out of the blue my ex-daughter-in-Law brought my precious Grandson back into my life! Because I continued to pray and ask God to soften her heart and touch her mind and give her a new way of thinking.I asked God to bless her . I know that with the Strength and protection that I receive from God I possess triumph over all of the devices of the Devil.God is going to win every time! My Grandson who is back in my life is the proof of Faith!

I know that when I asked Jesus to be my personal saviour a whole new me arose from that place, I could feel His comforting of me, and I just felt like the world had been lifted from my shoulders. People ask, for proof, There is proof everywhare we look, everywhare we are, and in every breath. It is a miricle that we can even breath, and walk, and think for ourselves. When we look at archeoligy, we find over and over again the proof of not only God, but of Jesus life on this earth. They have found proof of His life not only in the BiBle, but in documents from other sources from roman scrools, to geak writings. Just look at thing around you, and tell me that you haven't seen Gods hand in something. I might be one of the lucky ones, but everywhare I look, I see Gods presence

Because the proof is in my life. I don't need to wish for a Saviour to come and change and make my unfortunate circumstances better. I don't need to wish for someone to change my nasty thinking towards my neighbor. I don't need to wish for someone to say "cast all your cares on me, all your burdens, because I care for you," when I feel the presence of Jesus in my life, and things begin to change for the better. A wish is an uncertainty, but I have the certainty that Christ lives on the inside of me, teaching me and loving me. Telling me that I am His child, and that "all things work together for good to them that love God." (Romans 8:28)

my faith is based on a God who has proven Himself faithful throughout history and throughout my life.

faith isn't wishful thinking. it is trusting and obeying God's will in my life. and it is a gift from God. maybe those who don't have it didn't ask sincerely...

Ask and you shall receive. Pray that the Holy Spirit will open your eyes and He will. Then you will know it is all real. You will only receive what you are disposed to receive.

Choose not to believe if you wish. We were also given free-will.

My brother got ran into by a car. He was thrown thought the windshield. They rushed him to the hospital. the doctors call the family and told my mom he would never regain conscience and would die before dawn. Mom bowed her head and told God, "God, I tried to raise my children in the right way to live. according to the Bible, Your Word, God. Now I ask You Lord, Please don't let my son die in his state of being". My brother opened his eyes, he couldn't speak, but the pastor, mom, dad, and myself prayed for him that night. The pastor ask him if he ask God to forgive him of his sins. My brother nodded yes. Then he died. God is very real and true.
