Has any one considered every person, animal, plant is made from the same basic components of Protons Neutrons and Electrons. Do you really believe this happened by complete chance.

Regarding natural selection. Is there not an element of chance in animals "evolving" to have the correct features to be "selected"

ok i have read DNA and the first cell formed by CHANCE and probability of this happening is stupidly high. What is the counter argument to this

Don't the adaptations form by chance though. Or is the human genome intelligent enough. That if I swam underwater every day for the rest of my life my children would have webbed feet and gills.

Has a basic living cell been created not cloned. the right chemicals mixed and made in a lab.

Granite must be what makes up your skull if you are suggesting this proves "god" in any way.

Anyone who suggests that origin is the result of "complete chance" is scientifically illiterate.

Take a class.

Edit: "Regarding natural selection. Is there not an element of chance in animals "evolving" to have the correct features to be "selected" "

Again,... it would be easier if you educated yourself about the nature of "Nature". You assume, incorrectly, that animals have "correct" features because you don't know what the theory of evolution states, or don't want to believe it. I'll give you a link that is full of real, peer reviewed, scientifically valid, and easy to read articles.
I suggest you read some.

That what happened by chance? That the universe and everything in it consists of variations in the the way that the same fundamental material is assembled and interacts?

Or that life arose from these same materials?

Or that, what we see as specific substances and energy, arose from those fundamentals materials and interactions, rather than some other substances and energies?

The ultimate origin of the universe is an open question for me. Everything that exists afterward follows directly from that origin, and there is clearly an element of randomness (or chance if you wish) in what follows. This does not mean that certain assemblages and interactions and subsequent developments would not be (or are not) favored, a priori, because of the natural tendencies of the system as it exists since origin.

I do not believe in some outside power or thing or whatever actively interacting with the universe to tweek the way the universe evolves over time. It is unnecessary and not consistent with our observations (I do not believe in magic or the supernatural, only in the natural).

I do not have a problem with there being some "creator" of the universe, although positing such raises as many questions as working under the assumption that there was none. From this thought (the existence of a creator), the question immediately arises, where did that creator come from? It is just a displacement of the question of the origin of existence by one step and answers nothing, really. Either there isn't a creator, in which case the information we gain points to how the universe formed, or there is one, in which case the information we gain points to how the universe was formed, by that creator. No difference in practice.

Assuming a creator does nothing to help us understand the reality of our existence. It may provide people comfort, however, so feel free to think that way. Just do not expect everyone to agree, or try to impose your personal interpretation on others, if you please.

My concept of a creator may differ from yours, and I would definitely take offense at any effort to tell me I am wrong and you are right when there is no possible way of demonstrating what is or is not the truth, although I am open to hearing your opinion or your thoughts, as long as they are not just a repetition of someone else's thoughts that I have already heard numerous times, in which case it is just boring.

EDIT: People that say that evolution does not involve chance really haven't grasped the basic concept. There is a huge element of chance in whether a modification to an organasm is beneficial, neutral, or detrimental (I am not even going to address the role of chance in creating the modification in the first place). The same alteration can produce each of these outcomes depending upon the circumstances in which it arises, and can even change from beneficial to detrimental as environmental conditions change.

Well,It's good to see you've learned the basics.Everything is made of protons, neutrons, and electrons. That is a very good start, but it is only the beginning if you want understanding. Those protons, neutrons, electrons,
break down into even more elemental particles. It REALLY is fascinating.None of that has anything to do with evolution though, but at least you are learning, and that is great.

Yes,there is "chance"involved in the mutation, the vast majority cause the organism to fail. There isn't "chance"in what reproduces though.Only those changes that benefit the organisms survival rate are passed on.
Science really is fascinating.I strongly encourage you to pursue it.You will find a universe and a creation process in reality FAR more awesome(and believable)than the silly myths from goat herders whose crowning achievement was community wells. They meant well, they were simply goat herders, didn't know any better. We know better now,and the TRUE story of creation is wondrous and awesome.Study up

How many times does it need to be said?

Evoution is not PURE CHANCE. It is NATURAL SELECTION!!!!

EDIT

Oh dear. Those characteristics and traits which allow an animal (man included) to best survive in a particular environment and reproduce are more likely to be passed on to the said animals offspring. Where is the chance in that? You may want to look at how reproduction occurs and topics like gene splicing, crossing over and the flipping of chromosonal lengths!!!!!

ANOTHER EDIT

The first proteins have been demonstrated in laboratory conditions of the primordial soup. RNA has also been demonstrated as the next step in the process and from that science will demonstrate DNA formation. You are talking billions of years and gradually evolution here. You are not talking about everything in 6 days.

Certain atoms have an affinity for others and certain atoms don't. Those with an affinity bind and form new molecules and those without an offinity don't. This is basic chemistry. From there we proceed to our proteins and our RNA and then DNA.

OH DEAR

If you swam under water you would die and wipe yourself out and your genes would die too. So obviously you would not develop gills and webbed feet.

So you think its magical that all things are made up of the same basic ingredients. I find no wonder in that. If we the chosen ones were made of something special that would help me believe.
Yes I do believe that its all just chance.
You and yours have never offered anything more. Even if it turns out there is a god its still chance that he created us.

Nobody - and I mean nobody - thinks "this" happened by complete chance.

Do you think it's "complete chance" that causes things to fall? Of course not (I hope). You know it's a naturalistic phenomenon called "gravity" that causes it.

Well, naturalistic phenomena aren't chance, and they are why "this" happened.

EDIT: Polonium halos are well-explained naturalistic phenomena that are in keeping with an old, non-created Earth.

Happen by chance? not a chance!

depends what you mean by made of the same stuff.

MAde from the dust...yes... but formed by the hands of God with life breathed into man by the breath of God The rest of creation didnt have the same level of personal investment by GOd.

God said everything else was good but when He made man His language became far more personally invested. "let us make man in our image" and decaled the good earth with the first couple added to be VERY GOOD !!!

God did not become a man to die for angels or dinosaur or stars but he did to help the redeemed.

( btw both creationists and evolutionists believe in natural selection in different ways )
