"Shakti ke bina Shiva Shava hai"

This sentence not only has deep meanings hidden in it but also echoes the importance of Shakti (the feminine).

Shiva, without Shakti, as material manifestations is equivalent to things which are "jada". It is only after Shakti pervades in is when "Jada" becomes "Chaitanya" and worthwhile. The panchamahabhootas with which the entire creation is said to be made of has no meaning if these panchamahabhootas dont have their inherent energies. These, with the material they constitue and the energies they carry together, are useful and result in "shristi".
Hence as a bulb without electricity, a flower without its fragrance, a body without the soul have no meaning, so does Shiva have no meaning without its feminine half Shakti. they both compliment to make Shiva, Shiva, and Shakti, Shakti.

This philosophy gives equal importance to the feminine so much so that it makes it important for the existance of the other.

A karta without a karaka is meaningless as the karak defines karta, and karta is essential to the karaka to be a karaka.

A meaning of the eternal bond of love is also enunciated by this sentence. A "Purush" without "paurush" is of no use, and this "paurush" comes to him with the advent of "prakriti" in his life. Thus this sentence helps to understand the importance of "prakriti" for a "purush" and hence their eternal bond.

Hope this helps.

Shiva tatwa represents the potential form of the Cosmic Energy; Shakti is the dynamic form of their when the Cosmic Energy has issued forth into creation. During the period of Creation, which is triggered by a big bang, there is a perfect balance between Shiva and Sakti. At the end of the four yugas, when creation comes to an end, there shall be pralaya. God shall withdraw unto Himself all the cosmic energy. The Shakti shall all be withdrawn into Siva Himself. Siva or the potential form of the Cosmic Force shall remain in inertia.

This is like any beautiful flower without fragrance. Shakti is His intention of manifestation and without it, everything is zero. As Shiva has no birth, no end, has no dimentions and is beyond perceptions of common devotee of any degree, should never be compared to shava. All pervading Gods should never be compared with materail and perishable things.

The shaktas believe that shakti is supreme power that she is the prana the life giver and who has the ability to shape the universe. This Shiva is ignorant who is in deep sleep and is least bothered about creating and causing varities. Then acts shakti his inherent energy wakes him up to create a variety of creations.Shiva just gives her space to create.Shiva is the screen and shakti is the film projector, to see a film both are required. The sreen seems to be dead the projector seems to be lively .But to things to happen both are required.Shiva seems to inert as he is the witness of his maya shakti may be because of this he is said to be shava without the shakti.

Laya (folding) and Pralaya (unfolding) happens when there two are together - Consciousness and Matter. In other words, manifestation happens when Shiva (Consciousness) and Shakti (Matter) are fused together in the form of Ardhnarishwar (manifestation). Manifestation is nothing but emulsion of Consciousness and matter.

If we take out matter from Consciousness, then manifestation will not be there i.e. Shiva will be Shava (dead).

To put in simple terms what Rakshas has stated above is

The whole process of creation would come to a standstill if Shiva is moved away from Shakti - and that would be destruction.

Masculinity and femininity,Left and Right brain, together forms the whole being and an ideal person is the one who has integrated in equal measure both. Usually one dominates over the other and that is the cause of our misery!

There is a concept of Ardanareeswara in whom both male and female are 'joined' in the single body, and , interestingly, the right side of the body(which is controlled by the left brain) is depicted as male half and the left side of the body(controlled by right brain) represented as female.Shiva and Shakti must be integrated for a creative and vibrant existence

Shiva is Shava when it is soonya[dead like]Sakthi is inherent in soonya.

Shakthi[energy particles] emerges from the soonya & only then the Universe is formed.

So shiva without sakthi is shava.

Shiva and Shakti are complimentary to each other. The existence of Shiva without Shakti is merely nothing. They both exist for each other and without one the other is incomplete just like the "Shivlinga" cannot exist without his base which is the "Yoni". Do you understand?

Deep, I don't wish to fall out over this matter but I think you are trying to endorse a person with the term "AUM" that has a much significance in Indian religion which you shouldn't have done.
