Constantly gravitate towards me? I reckon this is a bit paranormal...They always seem to stop in mid step, stare, and run straight at me; male dogs even tried humping me...And just now I was at the beach (Stanwell Park Sth Sydney - Awesome!) and this dog would not leave my side, and started attacking (teeth barring and going for the neck) about 10 others that were trying to approach me (I was flattered that he felt like protecting me but come on, what's up with this?)
I love them, but they seem to love me even more...

Denie...you make me laugh...I wrote that the dog was attacking the other dogs that came near me; and there was absolutely no mentioning of spirits...Seriously though, are you ok...do you need any help?

they probably treat you as their "alpha dog". it means that dogs "look up to you" and respect you since dogs are respecting the hierarchy of the pack.
be flattered, not all people are treated thiiiis special by animals.

all animals have the gift of being able to sense things like fear, anger, even disease in people. The fact that dogs are attracted to you is probably a combo of smell and sensing your a decent person. I have two dogs and they know when I am in a good mood, they know when I am sad. Dogs have very acute senses. Maybe you should consider adopting one since they seem to like you. The fact that a male dog tried to hump you is a dominance thing. These dogs are trying to show dominance over you. And who ever owns these dogs have not trained them to accept their place in the so called pecking order. Never allow a dog to do this. It is a trait they all do when in a pack to show who is the dominant animal and the order so forth down the line. this is not a sexual thing but rather a status thing. Nothing paranormal here, natural yes.

If one was showing its teeth & going for your neck....that's not "love". Maybe I misunderstood...Maybe they were going for the dogs' necks that were trying to attack you . If they were protecting you...then maybe they sensed you need protection. Or, like you said..maybe it IS paranormal. Maybe there is a spirit around you that they like..or a guardian angel. So far they usually like me too. I've seen people that dogs seem to hate. Maybe you're right...it might be some spirit etc. near us that we can't see but they can see or sense.

Some people give off a certain scent that
attracts animals. My husband has that scent.
Every cat we have ever owned goes nuts for my
husband's boots after he has been standing in them for hours. Same thing for his stinky, sweaty
clothes. Enjoy the attention.

I too have had more than one randy little bugger go to work on my leg.
I suspect the rest of this may be due either to confirmation bias where you interpret a few random incidences as common occurrences or else to the fact that you pay more attention to dogs than the average person.
It could also be you have some sort of special odor about you.

dogs are just very good at sensing people, must be something about you that they like....
this is a very true story, many years ago, i was at someones house, and some not so nice people came looking for me..(they were bullies and they had it in for me) so when they came to the house, i panicked about where i was going to go and hide from them, straight away i ran out the back and jumped over the fence, into their neibours house, i jumped over and hid down below.. what i didnt know was they had 2 savage guard dogs, the 2 dogs came running up to me, and sat there with me... they could sense i was a good person and i had fear in me... when the nasty people looked over the fence, the dogs went them, and i ran up to the persons back door, with the dogs following me... the owner could not believe what she was seeing, me standing there with her two dogs...she told me, she has *never* seen her dogs be nice to anyone, apart from their family, after that we became really great friends....some people just seem to attract animals....

I don't know, they must sense a good vibe from you... I have the opposite problem, dogs chase me out of anger since I was a kid, I avoid them... they must smell the fear off me...

I'm the same way! Animals love me and I love them but sometimes I have to shove them gently, but firmly, away just to show I'm the dominant one.

it's a hormone and how you act around them is what is getting them to notice you more, you may like dogs sexually and they sense you're turned on so they return the favor.
