Recently the state of Missouri is getting tougher on Illegals along with several other states. I noticed they will effect state contractors, but not private contractors like myself.
I believe it should effect ALL employers since we (private employers) make up most the jobs that Illegals are filing that could be (and should be) held by the legal taxpayer.
Agreed?

No Illegals working here! Never have been, never will be! I try to use only US made products as well.

I 100% agree. Employers who hire illegals are part of the problem. Being refused employment in the USA would be a deterrent to coming here illegally, although many still would.

There are already many laws to keep people from hiring illegal workers. The problem is enforcing the laws that we have, old or new. There needs to be better enforcement. By the way I always hear about illegals taking our jobs. Um.. I have never been at lack for employment.

Well its a start. I am sure Gov. Blunt is trying to figure out how to write/word private industry into the mix in a correct manner, so down the road, some court doesnt rule it unconstitutional to do so.

Like it or not, this country would have a very difficult time without the use of undocumented workers. Of course its a popular conservative slogan to get tough on immigration, but, behind the scenes many of there supporters in industry know the reality is they would end up losing if they lost this flow of under paid workers. All the tough talk is simply to stroke the fire of their conservative base and their fear of the "other"

I agree. When you create "loopholes" and "exceptions" like this you know that the law is just political...not trying to fix the underlying root problem. The politicians of the great state of Missouri appear to be trying to pacify their voters with smoke and mirrors.
