Not a good idea.
If you show it to a cop, you will probably strike him as a cop wannabe and make him most happy to give you grief.
And don't even think of getting one if you don't actually have a CCW Permit. It will only get you in deeper trouble.

That is a great kids question.
After i got my concealed carry permit, my wife bought 1 of those sets for me.
I keep it in the best place i can think of. In a drawer in my dresser at home.
You go flashing something like that around & some people might suspect that you are trying to impersonate a law enforcement officer & you can get arrested for it.
carry the PERMIT, NOT a badge

LOL if you whip that thing out the Police will arrest your for impersonating a police officer. Then they will laugh at you for having it.
That is mall Ninja stuff. Just keep it in a regular wallet. If you are in a spot that you as a CCW holder have to pull your weapon and use it, the least of your worries is showing "YOUR CCW BADGE".

I buy mine at police supply stores. As a retired cop, I want my badge and ID with me at all times, but don't want it to be seen unless I need it. My wallet looks just like a regular one until you flip open the extra flap to expose both my badge and my ID.

That badge carries no weight at all. It is the permit which is important. Don't waste the money. In some cases, you may even get into trouble for impersonating law enforcement personnel.
