It may, or may not. Some people have more endurance than others. One guy I know of died from an infection he got from a small nick on his chin he got while shaving. Another guy took 7 bullets to the heart, and lived. If you want to kill someone, be imaginative about it. There is a chemical cocktail you can make which will mimic a heart attack, and be totally undetectable by any test...because the chemicals are deadly when mixed into a compound, but-after death-break down into two harmless chemicals which are naturally in the body to begin with. Read some books on chemistry/biology, and see if you can figure out which chemicals/what compound I am speaking of. Education pays.

hitting someone ANyWHERE on the head with a baseball bat/metal pipe brings two gauranteed results....
1 probable instantaneous death. (not gauranteed as other posters have rightly said-each has his own endurances-but i wouldn.t risk it)

2 a lot of hard time in the big house (prison) my freind.

in a situation that requires self-defence learn to use your hands and feet-they work better and in the event of criminal proceedings you will have a stronger defence.

Depends on a lot of things - head/brain injuries are unpredictable - but it is definitely possible. If the objective is death, a knife or other blade weapon through the neck/throat/spinal cord is a far more certain option.

Death is likely. Other outcomes are serious spine injury leading to severe disability.
Doing this will likely be considered excessive force by law enforcement and lead to prison. Not to mention you will live with it on your conscience the rest of your life.
That you need to ask such a question is worry some.

not exactly, alot of variances. the only sure thing is a long prison sentence and the fact that you will have alot of shanks to contend with instead of bats or pipes.

With a lot of force, you are either going to knock them out or kill them.

Its up in the air what will "actually happen".
