I think that it is rather impossible that a mother does not love her child. Sometimes the love is being overshadowed by anger or disappointment but deep down she loves you.

I think it is possible to make her aware of it again and since you are worrying and thinking about the feelings of your mother so much I would say you are halfway there.

A point to start is probably to try to think of why your mother could be disappointed in you or why she is angry with you and if it is something you need to apologize for: do it! I think forgiveness is the best way to find back together.

Good luck to you and your mother. I really think you can solve your differences.

No mother should treat her child that way. Sorry.

It's time you stood up to your mom and tell her how you feel. Be kind and gentle, let her know that you do love her. Let her know how much it hurts you that she only calls you when she needs you to watch your sister's grandkids, while ignoring your children. You are not there to be ignored except when she needs a favor.

I'm going through a similar (but different) situation with my dad and sister, so I know how you feel.

Good Luck

Mothers will never stop loving their children. She knows that you love her, it's a mother's instinct. She may not talk to you, or shout at you, but deep down she loves you. It sounds like you need to meet up with her sometime, or send her a letter telling her how you feel. Good luck. :)

You try to mend the relationship. If that doesn't work, you let the void in your heart be filled by other people.
