Yes, there have been freak accidents of people dying from relatively tiny wounds.

Why would you want to escalate a situation with side arms and potentially endanger yourself or the people around you?

To ask a question like this, it is apparent that you don't have a clue about weaponry.
the best thing you could do with your toy, is to keep it in your play area, because if you shoot someone with it, thanking it will injure or scare them off, you will find that your judgment was in serious error.
It is highly possible that the person or person\s that you are trying to protect yourself from, will take the toy away from you & use it on you, as a hemroid remover.
if you don't know what that means, it is where someone shoves it up your A __ OOPS, can't say that. Lets just say that it would be uncomfortable for you to sit down.

If you have any more questions about your toy guns, you might ask them of the kids that hang around the forum Outdoor Recreation-Other

Alex,

Your question is very difficult to interpret. So I'm just making a guess at what you are asking.

Are you more or less asking if an airsoft handgun can be usd for self-defense.

The answer is NO!!!

If you are in a situation where you need a firearm to defend your self, if you point a toy gun at someone, you are going to get severely injured or killed.

If you brandish that realistic toy gun around when you would not be justified in drawing a real firearm, you will be just as liable to getting your butt tossed in jail as you would if the gun had been real.

If you can't or won't buy a real handgun, buy a good cane from www.canemasters.com and learn to use it.

There are two interpretations to this question, and hence I will provide two answers.

1) Be careful with your air guns, they could put an eye out, or potentially be lethal.

2) For self defense, buy a real firearm. The only way to use one of those gas dealies for self defense is to hit a burglar over the head with it.

Maybe if you shot a bunch down their throat and they choked to death. The only thing it could be defencively used for is making someone think you have a gun when you don't, but then they might pull a real gun/beat on you to get the fake one.

Forget about it.* Very bad idea.* Nothing less than a 357 Magnum should be considered for truly effective self defense.*

am sure if you hit someone on the head enough times with it,it could be lethal.at the very least it could leave mild bruising.

If hit in the right place, you can be killed with a pebble.
