I don't think he was joking. Most Christians should be a little more Buddhist, and a lot less Islamic.

Sometimes a dream is just the result of eating too much pizza before going to bed, or something similar. Jesus said "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself" (John 12:32), so the real Jesus would draw you to Himself, not to Buddha or anyone else.

May be Jesus want to get rid off you. Oh.. Another pest. Let him go and trouble Buddha.
Could be also that Jesus is annoyed with Buddha at the break fast table.

"Everyone dreams" says The World Book Encyclopedia (1984, vol 5, p.279). "Most adults dream for about 100 minutes during eight hours of sleep." So dreams are a normal human experience. Said Dr. Allan Hobson, of Harvard medical School: They are ambiguous stimuli which can be interpreted in any way a therapist is predisposed to. but their meaning is in the eye of the beholder-not in the dream itself." When reporting this, the "science Times" section of The New York Times added: "Within the school that places great value on dreams, there are many approaches to finding the psychological message of a dream, each reflecting different theoretical outlooks. a Freudian will find one kind of meaning in a dream, while a Jungian will find another, and a Gestalt therapist will find still another meaning....but the view that dreams have psychological meaning at all has come under strong attack from neuroscientist." July 120, 1984 p. c12
Jer. 29:8,9 "This is what Jehovah of armies...has said: 'Let not your prophets who are in among you and your practicers of divination deceive you, and do not you listen t their dreams that they are dreaming. For "it is in falsehood that they are prophesying to you in my name. I have not sent them," is the utterance of Jehovah.'"

Jesus is not different, Buddha and Jesus are the same. Buddha and Jesus are both Avatars(incarnations of God on earth), so are they different?
I think dreams are just thought, etc of subconscious mind. But maybe your dream maybe true! who knows?

I thought you to be an avatar of Budhha's brother.
At the conscience level we all are same.
All realized soul have realized that aham Brahamsmi.
In Bhagvatam when Yudhistir has a question about realization, Krishna does not feel that he can explain at the spiritual plane so he sends him to Bhisma. And Bhisma gives the sahastranama.
I dont believe in dreams, because it is just a play of waking experiences.

I don't think he would. You may just be fed up with the 'business' of church but truly desire a deeper spiritual experience in God that you do not find in the church community. Finding the mind and heart and consciousness of God might come through shedding 'churchianity' and other things that entrap the soul, mind, and spirit.

He wouldn't.
2 Corinthians 11:14 says, "Satan disguises himself as an angel of light", so how do you know it was Jesus in your dream and not Satan?

Oh easily I keep in mind a instructor telling me as quickly as that the church had pronounced this on call admire and ettiquite: we are in a position to be pronounced as "Mormons" and it quite is okay. and we are in a position to declare you're a "Mormon" and that i'm a "Mormon". "Mormonism" is likewise ok, given it somewhat is our "ism." we could no longer say we practice Latter-Day-Saintism, see? what they do no longer % us to call it somewhat is "the Mormon church" or "i'm a factor of the LDS Church." As for "LDS," through fact the entire acronym would be see you later it would defeat the purpose, "LDS" on my own is great. by ability of pointing out that we are LDS, we mean that we are latter day saints of the Church of Jesus Christ. It nevertheless is optimal and exhibits admire. even nonetheless many different names suited, of path the main admire will certainly be to state that we are individuals of the "Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints." or merely "we belong to the Church of Jesus Christ" to simplify haha. desire that became into comprehensible and that it helped! have a good nighttime!
