I got a mouthwash , it says you should wash your mouth before every brushing, that makes 3-4 times a day. On the other hand, I've heard there are some useful bacteria in mouth which are killed by mouthwash luquids. Are mouthwash liquids good at all? How often should I use them?

I personally don't recommend mouthwashes for people with normal, healthy mouths. They are over priced and the benefits are minimal. Thorough brushing and flossing is all you really need to do. Regular dental visits will let you know if you are doing a good job.

It's good to use it just before you go to bed the most (because that's when bacteria have the most time to grow is while you sleep). Then when you get up and somepoint during the middle of the day if you want a really clean mouth. It also helps with plaque and gingivitis.

Cheers. x
