The airline in question is Qantas. The movie quotes that Qantas have never had a fatal crash, however this is not true. Qantas have never had a fatal JET crash. During the age of piston engines, Qantas had fatal crashes, 8 to be exact with a loss of 62 lives. Since 1961, Qantas have never had a fatal crash with any aircraft type.

Darkrider is right.

But while QANTAS has not had a fatal crash in recent times, they did do substantial damage to a 747 in a runway overrun. The cost to fix the 747 was supposedly more than a new one would have cost but it prevented a hull-loss from being registered.
