My husband is Atheist - yes, this is perfectly normal.
And since I'm a Witch, I always have a broom handy.
Beat them with a broom and tell them to get back into the cabinet or you'll turn them into a toad.

It's normal for them. They're obsessed with being targets of an arcade game called "Crazy Cabinets" where you are supposed to shoot them before they yell "Have you had your Chunky Campbells Soup." So get a gun and blast away! Brooms simply won't do.

I just ignore them...one time I was out of Campbells Chunky soup(I think you have the wrong brand) and they threw cans of peas at me when I opened the cabinet.

The cabinet atheists don't bother me anymore, they know I eat my Chunky Soup (Manhattan clam chowder today). I had to throw Donovan McNabb and his mother out of there a few times, though.

Well, the traditional custom is to stand on a chair and scream until the poor little thing finds a way out.
