We all know god has a terrible sweet tooth, so I'm sure in exchange for a piece of the pie he would've let them off the hook.

LOL .. It would be like a Sara Lee pie.. you KNOW how GOOD they are but how evil they are on your waistline...Dont forget to add a scoop of hagendas or ben and jerry's or even godiva dark chocholate ice cream for the ultimate knowledge of good and evil...

The self-knowledge that God wanted to hide from them would still be there. Perhaps there might need to be a change in the animal participation in the story. Maybe the cow of temptation could offer whipped cream!

It's a decent symbol of how American culture spawns multiple sins. We love apple pie right?

the sugar would have soaked up all the good, and the evil would have settled into the crust and burnt it. so, they would have trimmed off the crust and ate the filling. they'd be so full of good, it would have been like being god, or a hell of an acid trip.
