I have IBS and GERD. I have to be extra careful and monitor what I eat. Otherwise, the bloatiness, spasms, diarrhea would certainly bother me. Sometimes, i feel like food regurgitating back in my mouth . And I becaome quite nauseous and vomits. Just the other night, i felt my whole epigastic area was burning, quite acidic, and I was in pain from abdominal spasms. I took two Tums, two Gas-X tabs to no avail. i drank green tea. Finally, i reached for the MOM ( Milk of Magnesia) which certainly helped. I had two projectile vomiting and had two diarrhea. But the bloatiness; spasms and abdominal distention subsided. I finally was able to return to sleep.

I have to be very careful to watch what I eat. It seems that tomatoes and other gassy vegetables tend to aggravate my GERD. Hope this helps!. MOM will certainly coats your stomach and ease all the discomforts as it's both a laxative as well as an antacid with rapid or instant effect and relief.

how old are you/.... do you drink? this could be something much worse than gerd. or a.r.d , pancreatitius, liver cancer,, you should see a doctor and get more tests. my step dad had stomach pains for just a few months,,then went to a dr found out he had cancer in his liver and pancreas he died only 3 months later. and he never drank, but they told him that drinking usually caused that. or it could be an ulcer!!! hopefully!! cause that does cause a pain in the upper stomach too. just make sure you get FULLY checked out.
