I have had multiple dreams of roller coasters. Now I absolutely love roller coasters and heights but I have no clue what any of these mean.
The first dream I had of roller coasters, I was inside a huge roller coaster park, and two of my favorite coasters were there.
The second dream I had of a roller coaster, I was on a beach with my friend at night. There was the largest roller coaster I had ever encountered. It was right along the water and rope. Once again I was not able to ride it.
Another dream I had was one of my favorite coasters while I was younger and I was able to ride it a bunch of times with another friend. But rain and lightening came and I couldn't ride it anymore because they shut the ride down.
The last dream I had was my favorite ride. I was there with a girl I like and a friend of hers. I normally do not talk to this girl often although I wish I did. We were able to ride the coaster and have a good time, but the dream ended shortly after.
Ideas?

➔ Dream Interpretation
Hm. Normally I would interpret riding a roller coaster with these people to be an unstable relationship that has a lot of emotional ups and downs in it. You say that you really love roller coasters, though, and this may have a different meaning for you. It makes me wonder if you seek out relationships that you find exciting, offering emotional highs. This sort of relationship can offer a lot of fun and spontaneity, but it can also be a very volatile relationship as well. People like that can lead you in to trouble sometimes, in the guise of doing something "exciting" which could be illegal or dangerous. In the first 2 dreams you say you weren't able to ride, do you mean you weren't "allowed" to ride? Perhaps these 2 represent people or situations you decided not to pursue, because although there is an element of excitement, perhaps you were smart enough to understand that it could lead you to trouble also, or possibly the people you were with represent people who wouldn't offer the emotional highs and lows that you find exciting. In the third dream you are sharing the ride with one of your friends that you do find exciting to be around, but you ran into trouble, or had a fight with them, or something to that effect, the relationship turned volatile, and had an unhappy conclusion. (represented by the storm) In the last dream you are having a relationship with someone you don't have one with in real life, but you have a good time with her in your dreams, maybe it is a reflection of desire on your part to get to know her better, and have her share the highs and lows with you.....

Dreams are sometimes given by the Lord to show where you need improvement in life. The interpretation of such dreams is true, but only if the interpreter has guidance from the Lord. Other dream interpreters that have a lot of experience can come close, but if there is direct guidance from the Lord concerning those dreams that are consistant with a dream that is given BY him, then the interpretation will hit a soft spot on the person's soul. The interpretation will be perfect. Many will not agree with me, and I never answer questions with regard to dreams that are simply the mind replaying the day. I also do not believe that any interpretation I give is mine, but belongs to Christ. There are instances in the Bible of 2 dream interpreters, Joseph and Daniel. I will not say that ALL dreams have meaning. Some are, as you say, random thoughts occuring as you sleep. Should you have one with deeper meaning, do not be afraid to voice it. You will know the true interpretation when you see it.

To dream that you are riding a roller coaster, signifies that you are experiencing erratic behavior brought on by yourself or a situation. You are experiencing frequent ups and downs in your waking life.
With this one friend where you are not able to ride the roller coaster, you probably have a good relation with this person, while on the other hand the times you able to ride signifies that the relationship is not so good.

Your dreaming mind seems to be trying to help you have some fun in your dreams, but your lack of faith in yourself and in your right/ability to do the things you want to do in life seems to prevent you from enjoying these dreams. I encourage you to try this exercise, especially since your dreaming mind seems to be genuinely interested in showing you a good time at night. Every night for the next 21 nights, after you turn out the light, repeat to yourself for as long as you can, "I can ride the roller coaster as long as I want and I will have the time of my life. It's okay for me to have fun. I am so grateful for my roller coaster dreams." Tailor it to your own liking, but try it. I think this is a matter of training yourself to believe you can have your cake and eat it too. For some reason, I think, circumstances may have led you to believe that you shouldn't be enjoying yourself too much in life. Put your foot down with this doubt and ride the hell out of those roller coasters at night.
Dreams are great therapy. If you conquer this challenge, you can start applying that determination to your daily life. You can have your roller coaster and ride it too.

Consider any roller-coaster relationships you have had. Thins kept you from being able to enjoy then 'ride'. It may be that this girl you like will be a good relationship[you get to ride and it's fun].
Does she know how you feel? You might want to ask her out.

Just a short perspective...
Absolutely there is a connection between the roller coaster and a relationship. It could be as simple as they are both fun for you, but the BIG one may mean your are getting serious with your girlfriend.
