I'm not sure I understand - is he your teaching assistant at the University of Mississippi, or is he just someone sending you porn who you happen to know (or believe) is a teaching assistant at another school? If he is YOUR teaching assistant, you absolutely have to report him to the professor. He has no business doing this. If not, just set your computer not to accept any emails from him.

Why did he send you a pornographic message? Was it an image of himself? Do you have or have you had any time of relationship with him?
First of all, you need to confront him. Tell him that you were offended by the message and that you do not wish to recieve any more messages from him.
Save the message. If he continues or does something else, document it, even if it is just writing down the time & date of the conversation and what you talked about, then make an appointment to speak to the department chairperson, show them a copy of the pornographic message, tell him that you made it clear that did not want to recieve such messages and asked this guy to stay away from but he refused.

"Soul Mates and Twin Flames," Elizabeth Clare Prophet, and "Sexual Force or the Winged Dragon," O. M. Aivanhov, might be of interest.
As to your porn person, porn is an addictive condition, and he probably thinks you're cute and would go along with his ever-increasing fantasy/porn needs.
He will not likely be harmed too much by his Dean, but at least he will have a likelihood of being recommended for therapy and/or counseling. This would help him, and you do everyone a good deed by at least contacting one or more Deans. (Point of procedure: would suggest forwarding the email to a female Dean or assistant Dean, as well as the main Dean responsible. There is a good difference between male and female attitudes toward porn, and it would likely be helpful to have at least one female authority in on the discussion loop. Men are simply more favorable to looking, and less likely to consider how the female feels.)
You might also give a prayer to God that God's will be accomplished through the individuals involved, particularly the Deans.

Do not delete those emails. Print them out and bring them to the school's administration. Do not talk to him directly. Sure, you might get him to stop sending them to you, but that will not stop him from sending this offensive material to other victims. Reporting him to the school administration will get him disciplinary action, and that will stop him. When victims stay silent to avoid embarassing the perpertrator, that gives the perpetrator permission to do it to somebody else. Don't let him do this to anyone else. Good luck! (I know this isn't professional, but what a creep that guy is!)

Is he a TA in one of your classes? If not, I'd just ignore it. If he continues to send you stuff like that, I'd report it to the university administrators. That's completely innapropriate.

Report him to the police and head of the university. And delete it as soon as the police say it is safe to do so.
