In my dream, i saw these three huge tornados forming from the night sky, and based from their width, i know it will destroy everything in it's path. so, i was in a hurry to get home, i was thinking of my family. the people were running here and there. and the traffic froze, so i get off (i was in a bus) and started running towards home. as i run, i saw the tornados going my way. they were very, very black and howling like angry giants. i was scared, so i seek refuge from a building nearby. i was climbing the stairs, when the glasses shattered, and i saw those tornados stopped in front of the building where i am, as if it's waiting for me to get out. so, i hid for some time peeping from time to time. they were gone! so i ran out of the building and started running again along the highway. but this time i noticed that all the people were gone, and there were military tanks piled up everywhere. then suddenly, these tornados popped out again and started to chase me again. then, i woke up.

There are three issues that have come into your life for you and your family that are like great arguements spinning out of control. You run to your home house but go into another building, meaning a new frame of thought. You run upstairs meaning you are trying to think intelligently what to do. The windows shatter meaning your outlook is not good.
You lay low and the tornadoes leave for awhile. The absense of people suggests your relationships are gone with people. The presences of military tanks piled up everywhere means you were prepared for a great conflict and to armor yourself but it is to no avail.

you have issues in your life (ie:fears or unresolved conflicts)
you were running to save your family from your own issues so they wouldn't be hurt. The traffic was standing still because you feel a lot of inner, subconscious turmoil, and it makes your mind feel like it is moving so fast that everything else is standing still. when you his from the tornado's it was like hiding from your problems, so you felt safe for time and they vanished. But when you emerged and tried to go on as normal, your problems began pursuing you again. The military tanks are there to help you deal with your issues, it is your mind telling you that you are ready, or nearly so. If they start shooting then you know you are definitely ready! :)
your issues could be simple and are seeming like giant screaming tornado's in your dreams to get your attention. Dreams are not always literal, sometimes it takes an extreme to make you notice. You could be feeling family or money stress because of the holidays, maybe you have a little tift with the wife or kids, maybe you are feeling job stress and just don't want to think about it right now.
Find a way to de-stress, hug your family, be thankful for what you do have, do something charitable (like donate a toy) and see if that doesn't help beat back those storms!

It sounds like it could be a prophetic warning from God. 3 tornadoes represent three types of tragedies that will hit. The part where you went inside the building seems to show that the building is a place of refuge, where the tornadoes can not touch you, that's why they stopped. But when you left that place you went back into the path of where all the turmoil was.

Do you read the bible? The book of Revelations would no doubt interest you. I don't think mankind's "last days" are happening anytime soon, but it is said that we should always think as if to be prepared. The fact that there are THREE angry-looking tornadoes and that you had an inner knowing that they could potentially annihilate everyone and everything is very significant.
I would not be surprised a bit if you were considering a career in ministry or something related to it. By this dream I can tell you have the heart for it.
