Can I still be physical with the girl? Like, even with the restriction of no sex, am I still allowed to hold her close and the like?
If so, yes, I could for someone I really love.

Yea! I'm 18 and still a virgin and still waiting for the right one...well...kinda sorta! I dont know bout other guys but my goal in life kinda isnt to have sex its to have a good wife and I can honestly wait after marriage to have sex! Sex should not be the reason why someone should be a wife or girlfriend. Its just really sad that so many people out there are doing it for that reason.

I believe trust is a big issue which leads to marriage. If she trusts me enough to marry her and take care of her and be with her for the rest of our lives.... why not sex. I mean, obviously, I don't expect her to give it up after a couple days or weeks... i'd wait a couple months... maybe a year but after that I would feel as if she really didn't trust me enough for that. Sex, real sex, with someone you actually care about is a representation of trust. I would want her to be sure though.

I did. When I met my wife I had been with about 20 girls and she was a virgin (very religious) I fell in love with her and we waited until our honeymoon. For people that think that you can't tell if your sexually compatible with somebody if you go that route - that's not true. I knew we'd be fine. By the way we kissed, and the conversations we had about sex. I wasn't even worried about it. Let me tell you - the honeymoon was amazing!! (even though now we're divorced :( I'd do it again though. It was nice to fall in love with somebody w/o jumping into sex. Let's face it, sometimes (good) sex can cloud your judgement.

No. If someone really loved me, then they trust me enough to have sex.
Also if someone loved me, then they would also respect the fact that I do not believe in religous institutions like marriage.

sure I would. Dont make it a year and sure I'll wait. I guess what I mean is depending on the waiting time I would do it.

I have to do two things with a women before I marry her. That is have sex with her and live with her. If she can't do those things then I am outta there.
