In some ways yes it's worse. Boys get erections at the most inopportune time. They get the acne too, but if nothing works they don't have hormone therapy (the pill) to fall back on. They have the same growth spurts. But...for a boy I think the worse is that they have the same emotional upheavals but they don't understand why. They can start crying just like girls do but it's not okay for them...and again they don't understand why. And if they don't have at least one parent who tells them why, and tells them it's okay, but instead tells them to suck it up, that can be horrible for a boy. That's why I think it's harder for them.

Hello,
I am a mother of boys, two of which are teenagers.
They deal with horrible BO yuck!
Willies at the wrong time (yuck!!)
There voice changing, this is actually funny but sad at the same time :0(
One of my teens grew I swear a foot or two one summer (he is over 6 feet tall at 15, well 14 he was over 6 feet). Which means he was very clumsy. He was not used to his hight.
Hair growing everywhere, well body parts that are exposed.

All I can think of as a mother of boys.

I'll be honest, girls do have it worse. Not to say that guys get off completely easy.

I mean, physically, we're driven more by testosterone. We become a bit more aggressive when first dealing with things. Not to mention the fact that we start noticing girls, and believe me it can really occupy one's brain. You girls really start to drive us crazy. It's a big mental toll. Especially trying to show off to you girls.

That, and we have to deal with our parents and such older relatives saying how cute it is that our voice breaks every other sentence.

But you girls still have it much worse, definitely.

It depends on what you mean by worse. My husband says he had to deal with surprise erections, his voice cracking, and wet dreams when he went through puberty.

Oh golly lets review: Embarrasing voice change. Gee where did all this itchy hair come from and oh wow, every once in while why do feel like I need 10 grit sand paper to scratch it (ALL THE TIME). OH look its high noon (ALL THE TIME) Holy cow where did all these girls come from (DAM HIGH NOON.....AGAIN) And suddenly I feel the urgent need to act like an idiot in front of them..........AAAHHH puberty, those were the days

Girls have many significant and noticeable changes that affect them a little more than with boys. Boys will grown hair, balls will drop, begin getting boners, having wet dreams, and their voices will deepen.

Probably errections in public.
Seriously, it happens at the worst times.
Like right when you stand up in front of a bunch of people.

But I wouldn't dare to say there's anything worse than the girls period.
EEK!

They don't get periods obviously. They get growth spurts like girls, plus they also get voice changes and wet dreams. That's all I can think of.
