Am I normal enough to be wanted? What's wrong with me?

I am 24, single, haven't had a bf, or a decent date that actually likes me. I am bad at verbalizing things..I try to be funny but I just sound like a dumb a**. I am honest about my interests and goals. I don't expect too much. But I want a decent guy that likes me for me. I am decent looking, but all this dating and wondering and looking for guys is getting me nowhere I am soo stressed out by all this. I work all the t ime, I have no friends because people that I meet nowadays aren't interested in getting to know me or are just plain shallow and have no depth. What am I doing wrong?

I haven't had a real bf since HS. I've dated but longest lasted a week.

Well my dear friend, there are lots of people in this world. They may not be interested in getting to know you more if you did not give the them the chance to get to know you. Besides, when people get to know about others, it's not even about how you look in the first place. You may feel confident about yourself, but don't get too confident about yourself. Don't understate that others are too shallow as you are no much different than they are, after all, we're just human. Treat them the way you want other to treat you. You'll be able to see things differently. Merry Christmas.

i tot. agree w/ you on the whole people being shallow nowadays thing.
i wish i could meet people like you who are REAL. all i can tell you is to hang in there and be true to yourself. it might sound like worthless advice, i dunno, but honestly, you will regret, above all other things in life, selling out and changing yourself for someone else.
