I know it's not tested/approved by the FDA. But have they found any negative side effects? Can it be bad for your health?

it's only bad if you take more than recommended. Also if the fish oil isn't pure and high quality enough it can contain mecury. Do your homework and shop around. Other than that the omega 3 is really good for you

I've been taking it by my Doctors recommendation to help get my good and bad cholesterol balanced out. The only thing I've noticed is that I have a funny taste in my mouth. And no I don't chew it, I swallow that huge horse pill.

Fish oil is suppost to be good for you. I tried it, and so did my mother, and we both got terrible headaches until we stopped taking it (which was about four days). On the other hand, my mothers friend swears it stopped all sorts of things she was suffering.

I take it to improve my LIPIDS per a Doctor. He said what is not needed is sent out of the body through the urine.

I got horrible bruises on my legs from taking it. They were huge and hurt even though I did not obviously bang myself up.

no - body needs healthy fats e.g. for brain functioning.
its recommended to eat fish every week.
