Hallelujah.
I love Jesus Christ!

1 Peter 4:16
However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

Romans 1:16
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

Mark 8:38
If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels."

2 Timothy 1:8
So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,

2 Timothy 1:12
That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.

Our Lord said if you love me, keep my commandments.

I guess we all have to examine ourselves to see whether or not we really love JESUS. I fall somewhat short of that criteria. I know I love him and at the same time I know my love is not perfect.

I am so glad that through the Holy Spirit I do love Him perfectly.

When I look at myself in the flesh I don't love him perfectly.

When I walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh my love is perfect.

Oh! to walk in the Spirit continually.

With all my heart and all my soul , how could I not love him , that died for my sins and yours.

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and peace
there will be no end.
He will reign on David's throne
and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the LORD Almighty
will accomplish this.
(Isaiah 9:6-7 kJV)

I never met him, and his presence did kind of incite hundreds of wars... I cannot say that I love him. I would probably like him if I met him personally, but there is no proof that he ever existed or ever shall exist, so I cannot really say that I care.
