If you are going to get a chance to see him, just sit with him. If he is able to talk, let him know how you are doing and see what he says to you. It is up to you if you want to see him or not. It is hard to feel a connection to someone you have never met.

well being that i do know my father and we dont talk much. i would say try to get to know him and spend some time with him. i bet he love that very much. i cant say exactly what u r feeling. but since he wont be here much longer be there for him. i wish u both the best of luck and im sure u'll make the best descion.

Forgiveness is always the best option. If you choose not to visit with him years from now you will always wonder.

i would ask if hed like to see you
and go visit
ask if he wants to tell you anything
let him think on it
then ask him again
he may have something important to say
usually when death is near they want to heal relationships before
it makes their death easier for them
