If I were you I would make a report card and have things on it like getting me to school on time , getting me good gifts for birthdays and holidays and other good things dads give there kids and give him straight A's so he will have his good grades for the day and then if your grades are good tell him the other half of his gift comes when school gets back in session...lol...I think its cute but thats just me

Well, get good grades. That'll make him happy.

My dad is the same. He never wants anything. Every year I get him two presents. A bag of pistachios (one of his favorite foods) and something else (This year it's a CD.) One of the presents is for Christmas, and the other is for his birthday since his birthday is January 4th.

Good Grades. Or something from the heart. A homemade card. Or a christmas letter from you.

Bake him cookies. I don't know a dad in the world that wouldn't love them and I don't know a 14 year old that can't bake them.

Oh, and give him the good grades he asked for!

you could make him a nice card... and you could also get a couple of picture frames, or a collage picture frame.

collect old pictures of you and maybe him too? he'd probably love it.

take care and happy holidays
