From the stories I read, the legal experts agreed the dogs did not send him to jail, his lies sent him to jail. Had he been honest from the start, he could be looking at a much shorter sentence, probably something he could have served in the off season.

He deserves way more. He should have the option to serve more time or to have his arm or leg chewed on by a viscious dog, mountain lion, or grizzly bear for that matter.
Deer hunting (did you honestly just bring this up?) Deer hunting is done not just for the sport, or just for "killing deer" Deer hunting is done to control the population of deer in the country. Each State, County and rural area have game wardens and conservationists that go out and watch and montior the population year round. So when deer season comes around they know how many hunting permits to issue. Deer hunting keeps the deer population at a manageable number, there is less disease in the deer population and with less population of deer, there are less traffic/deer accidents.
I only agree with one thing that you said in your question, "Justice has not been served" Well said, really. Michael Vick should have gotten a much worse and much more painful punishment.
Bottom line is Michael Vick is a ruthless, high paid piece of crap with absolutely no conscience. Dog killers should get more than 2 years. Dog killers should get every ounce of pain that they inflict.

What does this mean....."Dealing with Those Dogs"? Raising dogs to kill for sport, and killing those who don't measure up - is a lot more than dealing with dogs. It requires a mentality that hides a deeper fascination with violence. He got what he deserved.

Oh this is vintage liberalism...He goes to prison over some damned dogs and a couple teenagers down here in Florida get probation for beating a homeless man just for the fun of it. Man liberals need to get their priorities strait!!!!!

Americans don't kill animals by sending bolts of metal thru their head..... well unless they're millions of heads of cattle.
And we do NOT approve of animals living in torturous conditions... well, unless they are millions and millions of chickens.
