its 130 now im jw cuz if i get a ps3 for xmas i would still want to buy a ps2

There is a new, more compact PS2 to be released (power source built -in and). Must be cheaper too. It already must be out in Japan:

New PS2 released in Japan Already, And online people say its $99.99 USD.
I am not sure when they are going to release it for North America, no news on that yet.
I'm sure the price will drop, but the most that it will drop is no more than $30.

Yes. There's a rumor going around that Sony is going to introduce a more compact PS2 in January 2008, and it's going to retail for about 100 bucks.

If it does it won't be much. It's so low compared to when it came out that I don't think they can possibly lower it, not to mention that Sony is probably losing money for selling it for $130. I'm sure it will be the same way with the PS3 in a few years.
