Relax gal, it's al~~~~~right. Hey, let's face the truth, you are only in grade eight, going out with someone has already been a big step you guys took towards the adolescent phase. And let me tell you, having a relationship with someone right now is to learn about how to communicate and express yourself properly (especially with someone you are really close to), and is to find the best friend of your life. It's not right for others to laugh at you just because you don't want to make so much commitment to each other, or not yet. Moreover, it's not all about how you present in front of others in school as a "couple", it's about how you feel for each other and THAT'S the most important part. Are YOU ready to take your relationship to the next stage? or are you fine with your current stage and feel happy about it. I know that peer pressure can really get to your nerve, we are all under it, but you really have to be determined of what you want of your life and stay strong and fight for it.
Good luck! ^_^(\/)

I still like to kiss my husband on the cheek (and be kissed on the cheek) and we're well past grade 8. Don't rush growing up. You'll have plenty of time to be an adult! The more you do, the harder it is to stop. You don't want grown-up commitments at your age!

dont worry about what they say. I know its hard not to give into peer pressure - but only do whats comfortable for you. You are still very young. It doesnt matter what everyone else does. And if your boyfriend cares about you - he wont care what anyone else says either. Stay stong. And try to talk to your parents. I know it seems hard, but you should have an adult you can turn to. Too many young girls end up pregnant because they gave into peer pressure and didnt have all the right information or proper guidance

Yeah who cares what they think! Have your kiss on the lips when the time is right, when he makes the move or when you feel like making the move. When it is romantic and it is just the two of you. You don't want to rush into your first kiss it really is a special moment! Tell them all to shut up you guys will do more when the time is right, eventually.

First kisses are special!
Don't let a bunch idiots ruin it for you!
Tell whoever it is exactly this "Seriously, you have nothing better to do than talk about MY personal business? You guys must seriously have nothing better to do, or you aren't kissing anyone recently, or you're going to turn into the creepy 40 year old virgin that hits on all the 16 year old girls/boys. Leave me alone, and grow up."

Don't pay any attention to them. They probably just want to bring you down to their level.
I wouldn't discuss my personal business with anyone who was not a very close friend, and, if you have been watching television, you would know that Britney Spears' younger sister is now pregnant at 15. Is that what you want?
Save yourself for marriage so when you are older, you will know the wonderful bond between husband and wife that comes from knowing that you are the one and only.

Hun, I'm 14 and in 8th grade.
If Kissing on the cheek is all that your ready for then Girl, Don't let your Peer's pressure you into doing something your not ready for. Those people are just jealous that they have wen't to far.. (Most) of them.
If your not ready to kiss on the lip's, and neither is he then just ignore your "So" Called friend's. Your real friend's will be there for you, and be trying to get you not to Kiss him. Because kissing lead's into other thing's. Trust me Honey!
GOD LUCK :)
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!

You do what YOU feel is right...and what you are doing is right! Don't ever let people make you doubt what you are doing. Be a leader, not a follower. Those people that are making fun, might be doing things before you do, but at least you will know that whatever you are doing is because that is what YOU want and feel comfortable doing!!! You go girl!!!

Don't let people pressure you into having your first kiss with him. If you're both not ready for it, it's not going to be as amazing as if both of you were comfortable with eachother and ready. Just shrug it off. Ignore them. I know that's easier said than done, but your real friends shouldn't give you a hard time about that. Just elt them know that it really does bother you.
