Yeah.. I have done this before.. It means nothing at all. I am just used to yelling at my boyfriend.. I even accidently called my dad [my bf's] name once, while I was on the phone with him and we were arguing. Good thing he didn't hear it. haha. You are thinking too much about things sweetie. =] It means nothingg. =]

I am now married to my fourth (and LAST) husband and we've been together for nearly 11 years ... and I still occasionally 'goof' and call him by a former husband's or boyfriend's name ... he just LAUGHS. I'm a mother, with four kids (three boys, one girl) and would have the kid's 'picture' in my mind but still have to run down ALL the names before I got the correct kid (very embarassing when it was the girl) ... it's something we ALL do on occasion, and if you think about it, it's FUNNY. Your girlfriend is with you, but she's saying 'Stop it (his name)' ... so I'm guessing that she HAD TO SAY STOP IT TO HIM VERY OFTEN, and she doesn't have to say it to you very often, so she 'slips' and calls you by his name. Now be a good boy and tell her it's CUTE and give her a nice kiss ... see, it WILL be better soon!

Lol wow I used to do that a lot and I still could once in a while. It really doesn't mean anything. She most likely spends a lotttt of time with her boyfriend and it's just becomes a habbit to say his name in a lot of her regular sentences. Liek your example: "Stop it (Bob)!" or just "(Bob)!!" when she really means to say your name. It doesn't mean anything. Don't think about it too much.

well maybe you like to find out how long her previous relationship with this guy whose name she has been calling, how long did it last.
it could be muscle memory; i had the mistake of calling almost everyone around me my wife's name! including my dad and my mom, i always hoped they didn't notice it.
BUT it definitely doesn't mean she wants you to be her boyfriend, at least this is definitely not one of the indicative ways.
if it isn't muscle memory ( stemming from long relationship ), you can lose her.

if she has a boyfriend and calls you by his name then maybe she is playing some game with you. she likes her boyfriend but sees you in the picture too?

maybe you look like her boyfriend, but im pretty sure if shes telling you to stop something, she doesnt like you. by the way, learn that if she mixes up your name with her boyfriend's, it means nothing about you, except maybe you're a lot like her boyfriend.
