im getting a a hdtv plasma screen tv and i never had on before what are some cool things and features i cant experince on a regular tv ??? do u have to set up anything to recieve hdtv

:) I have one of those... YAY for you. Um... well when I programed cable on it I got a couple of HD channels on there and did not need anything else... OH MY GOD... HD is incredible and beautiful at the same time. I have it hooked to Satillite now and I don't get any HD. Um... my parents have an HD tv too that came with a box. You have to have someone install HD channels to your TV. Sadly... we did not have the HD receiver when the people came to install the satalittle... it was horrible.

You need to upgrade your service to HD. That high resolution display will make standard def signals look like crap. (Multiple posts per day around here about his.)
