Easier way or not, just do it!
If you want to learn to play the guitar you'll have to exert real effort in learning the chord placements and strumming techniques. Once you overcome the problem that the F chord gives, you can play any major chord on the fretboard by using that formation.
Stop looking for the easy way out; learn the F chord. All the others will fall into place.

Yes. Learn how to play chords on a subset of the strings.
You can play F as a bar E:
1
1
2
3
3
1
You can cheat a little by sloppily muting the 4th string on fret 2. You bar the entire first fret with your index finger, and use finger 3 to hold down the second & third strings on fret 3. Technically, this is E minor.
Or, you can play it on the 4 high strings only, without the bar:
1
1
2
3
x
x
This second form is common in folk, when you pick on the high strings. It's also easy to switch between C & F, using this form.
You have a few good options for B. First, if you can play a bar E, the simply slide up to the 7th fret to play B:
7
7
8
9
9
7
You can also play it as a bar A on the second fret:
2
4
4
4
2
2
You can cheat the bar A by barring the second fret with your index finger, and barring the bottom 4 strings on fret 4 with your 3rd finger. Just play the top 5 strings, not the sixth high E.
If you choose the folky form using only four strings then it's:
2
4
4
4
x
x
Another variant is B7, which is a little easier:
2
0
2
1
2

To play guitar chords you must learn basic chords. Ones fingers must get used to getting the proper note while playing the chords. Stretching of the fingers for playing chords may be difficult for beginners but with practice it gets easier. So I suggest learn to play the f chord or b chord the way it should be and later do what ever easier ways you learn on the way.
I too play the guitar but when I learnt it took weeks to get a sound out of difficult chords but no regrets as I play quite well today.
