Souds fine - yet nobody cares, really. The only one who will remember those colors 5 yrs from now is YOU, so get whatever YOU want :)

These are my colors. Although mostly purple and white with a hint of silver. The groomsmen are wearing silver ties and vests. And one of my bridesmaids has silver mixed with purple on her dress. My wedding is in May, so I chose a light purple with pinkish tones. I tried to stay away from the purples with bluish tones. The colors look great together.

I did a deep purple and silver as my wedding colors a few months ago and I thought it looked great. White... the color of my dress and flowers also looked good. I'd say you're onto something great!! They're just very classy and something a little different from everyone else who is doing red.

My only concern is that you might have problems finding flowers that work with those colors. There are some purples out there, mostly orchids, but most purple flowers tend to be on the bluer side. And I had trouble finding anything in a silver. How about periwinkle and silver? Then you could work some hydrangeas in there...

You can go to google, click images and search for "Black Pink Wedding." There are quite a few results that come up with fantastic ideas. (The white can be incorporated so easily that you don't have to include that word in the search.) I do all of my decorating searches with google images since it is an excellent way to visually sort through all of this information on the web! Good Luck and I know these colors will look stunning together!

Silver and white are good. Purple at a wedding comes off tacky.

I'd cut out the silver. Either use a light purple like lilac or lavender, with a darker purple, or add a pink or rose.

Oh how pretty! For what it's worth, I think lavender purple would be a little more wedding appropriate, but you can mix in dark purple too if that's more your thing!

Could be pretty depending on the shade of purple. I would say go dark or light. Congrats
