Most likely not. Get a .22LR or more for something like this. Are you a good enough shot to get a head shot? Are you a good enough hunter to get within 2 feet of the animal? If not, don't even bother, all you will do is cause pain and suffering which is illegal, immoral and unethical.

Yes it will. But I'm assuming you are referring to a .177 cal since you didn't specify caliber. If you want to hunt large game with an airgun you could do it with a very high powered 22 or 25. And a perfect shot. But it wouldn't be humane most likely. Question is "why" are you trying to kill it? Pest removal you don't have to worry about humane as much. If you are hunting for sport or just trying to rid an animal with a pellet gun. You need a Big bore . That would include anything 35cal and up. You need to hunt with an airgun as you would a bow. Close range and hit vitals. I have a 50cal airgun that will take down a 200lb hog and deer. Large bore def have the power to take Down larger game. Google it.

Odds are that all you are going to do is create a very angry coyote a pellet gun most times wont kill anything bigger than a squirrel. I assume your reason for using a pellet gun is due to noise why not get a crossbow and you will have the noise problem fixed but something that will do the job.

No way! Having killed a few myself and helped local game wardens on occasion with coyote management I would suggest you not even take the pellet gun. It seems that coyotes are stubborn when it comes to dying. Many require multiple shots to bring them down and these are well placed shots. The pellet gun will not have the power needed to kill the average coyote. Even with a well placed head shot will most likely be deflected off of the skull.

Anything is possible, but everything isn't probable.
Ethical hunters would NEVER, and I mean NEVER use such a gun for coyote hunting. At bare minimum a 22 magnum, and even then I'd still be cautious about distance from target and exact shot placement. 22 hornet, now we're getting somewhere, 220swift and 22-250, hey now we're talking! .223 , .204, .243 and larger? No doubts, no worrys, no problems at all.

not unless its a 9mm pellet gun, and yes they have those.
there are pellet guns out there that would do it on a lucky shot, but why not just use a real gun? that way you dont have to hope to it it exactly right.
savage arms 300 magnum will kill whatever animal you shoot at.
I have a .22 pellet gun, that puts it out at 750fps, it can kill a rabbit, but anything bigger thatn that its likely to just wound.
go with that 300mag, its cheaper than my pellet gun too.

No, a pellet gun wont kill a coyote.... you need a projectile with more weight behind it, at least a .22 39 gram long , one shot to the head should do it.....

NO, The best choices of calibers for that purpose are 218 Bee, 222, 22 Hornet, 22-250.*...These are Varmint calibers.*

Nope, if you do so your dad should give you a switching and make you track the yote and finish it off.
It would be VERY stupid to shoot one with a cheap 1000FPS pellet gun. At the very least a 22lr

one word. no. i have tried time and time again. no luck with a pellet gun. ive killed tons with just a 22 with stinger ammo. i would suggest a 223 or larger though. that will work much better.
