go see a travel agent they can find you a cruise, and they take payments on most cruises... with no interest better than charging it ..

All of the major cruise lines that operate out of US ports like Carnival, Princess, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Holland America charge a lot more than you are thinking of spending. The cheapest cabin on most any one of these ships for a 7 day cruise will be about $700 to $800 PER PERSON. That is about double what you are prepared to pay. You can estimate the cost of a cruise of about any number of days as approximately $125 to $150 per day per person. So even a four day cruise is going to cost you about $500 PER PERSON.

Now if you book one cabin for 4 people the cruise lines will generally price the 3rd and 4th guest in that cabin at a much cheaper rate, as low as $200 per person for the 3rd and 4th guest. But still the total price will be much higher than it appears that you want to spend. Since you want only 2 persons per cabin this would not apply.

Another option for you is to consider a much shorter cruise or 2 or 3 days. Such cruises generally leave from Miami or Ft Lauderdale and go to the Bahamas and back. Or, on the West coast from San Diego or Los Angeles to Baja, Calif and/or Catalina Island and back.

Some of the major cruise lines that I listed above do these cruises and you will have the same benefits and experiences but just a much shorter cruise. Once you pay your cruise fare on these ships all food 24/7, as well as coffee, tea, juices and punch, but no alcoholic beverages will be included and you will be requested to pay a gratuity to the waiters and cabin steward. This will amount to about $10 per day per person.

You may be able to find a cruise on a casino boat for much less and some of those do also leave from the Florida ports.
