Neosporin is oil based and should never have dried your skin. Did you keep it applied so it stayed moist? I had this happen long ago and that's all I did and it worked.

If the spots appear dry and chapped, and get progressively lighter, then shed and become dark again it's merely a case of dermatitis. This is very common and nothing to be ashamed of. A simple hydrocortisone cream applied once per day will give you healthy results in a matter of days.

try 1% hydrocortizone. If that does not work go to a dermatologist, it's most likely to be Psoriasis and he'll prescribe you Lidex cream to apply on the spot, ruling out that you had test negative for STDs

Have your doctor check it out. It might be several things, but nobody on here can see it. Plus, it's unlikely that you will find someone on here that is truly qualified to help you with this. Get competent medical treatment so you can quit worrying about this. Good luck!

Unless you're a virgin then how are you so sure you don't have any STD's? If you went to get tested then they should have told you what else could cause the "marks".
Good Luck with it!

I think its from Beating off too much, otherwise if you have had unprotected sex get tested for an STD . If that's not it then it could be a sports injury.

i might try going to a dermatologist. i would not start trying or testing our creams because it could make it worse or cause a different reaction different from whats going on now.
and dont pick at it....keep it clean and keep your finger nails off of it because underneath fingernails are large quantities of germs.
good luck!

Go see your doctor and find out what it actually is first, no point in making it worse if its something other than what you think it is.
