KJV -- I believe in letting the Holy Spirit lead my interpretation of the scriptures, not relying on someone else's version (I really wish I knew Hebrew & Greek -- that would actually be my version of choice).

I love the King James version but I read all the different versions of the Bible because you will get a better understanding. I study in the Amplified Bible but my pastor teach out of the king james, so I use that when every I'm at church. But it really don't matter which one you use. They all is same the same word and they all have power its still God's word thats why they call it the Holy Bible because his word is holy and have power.

KJVis the only one for me for the last 8 years. The best version out there. We'll see if any other version can last 390+ years and counting. Then I'll talk about about using another version.

it depends on why I am reading the Bible...if for study I like something like NLT, or the Message, so that I can understand it. If i am learning to recite or read to a group of people I often used KJV...If I am going through something and need encouragement I like to read psalms in KJV but the rest of bible in life application. like I said it just depends, I have about 6 bibles!!

KJV.

Most bibles are transliterations while the KJV is a translation. A transliteration is someone thinking that they understand a story then retell it in their own words.
For instance, all of those Thou's and thee's and ye's are singular and plural contexts. In other bibles they substitute the word 'you' leaving out the proper context as to who is being cited.
Ans a million other things as well.
