According to a book I have called "10,000 Dreams Interpreted" dreaming of a snake biting you means a pretended friend will do you wrong, it forbodes evil. To dream of shoulders means you will view the world in a different light.

So I think it means a friend will do something wrong to you and you will see her/him differently after that.

Snakes represents things which are deceitful in nature, whether they people, ideas, or concepts. But something has come to you in the form of a deception. To be bit by a snake represent you have fallen under the power of a deception, depending on where your were bit. Shoulder represents bearing a burden. Right shoulder is associated with burdens that you should carry, while left shoulder is associated with burdens that you shouldn't bear. So you are fighting a deception in regards to a burden you should or should not bearing.

When a snake appears in a dream it is a warning about danger. But if your snake dream followed a night of movies like 'Snakes on a Plane' or 'Slither,' it only means you already had snakes on your mind and probably means nothing.

I used to make sure I thought of snakes everynight before bed to negate any similar dreams because of a traumatic snake dream. Don't let things like this permeate you life, it isn't worth it.
