"The One" is a myth, I think. There isn't just "one". You should seek out someone you can love, who loves you back. If the two of you can sustain your relationship throughout its duration, you win. Seek out someone who makes you happy. Don't get caught up on idealistic dreams of "the one" or your "soul mate" or you may miss the right person.

You may never find "The One". Sorry, but that is the sad truth. Or you find the one, and get married, then discover the "real one" somewhere else.
