Congratulation you have a straightforward boy for boyfriend. Most people don't have the gumption to tell a friend they have bad breath .
Do you floss your teeth daily ? do you brush ?
check your tonsils for little white spots . That is most likely the culprit.Rinse with mouthwash before you go to see him.
Chewing gum helps a lot and see a dentist ,you could have cavities.

My dog had fecal breath and metronidazole sorted out the problem and it went away. Several people on other forums have reported this too. From the number of people with similar problems I am surprised such an obvious symptom has not got a simple answer. Obviously bad breath in dogs can be a symptom of tooth decay just like in humans. However the fecal smell is bacterial or parasitic (such as worms or guardiia) or symptom of Crohn s disease. GP should be able to diagnose without reading some of the absolutely rubbish answers on some of these forums. People, If you can t back up your comments with anecdotal evidence or scientific and medical reference and evidence then stop writing "helpful" but erroneous advice. These people are desperate and some of these comments posted are well meaning but just plain speculation. Chewing gum for example and flossing will not sort this problem out.
Please go send see your doctor and get it sorted out. Failing that change doctors (in the UK you can make an appt at any doctors as a visitor ) or take your fogs metronidazole and see if this helps. I also gave my dog probiotic powders and probiotic tablet every day and fecal breath cleared up.
There are specialists in this field that you need a referral to.
Good luck.

I get this same smell often. (since I had my gall bladder removed actually) I notice it when I am having extreme intestinal discomfort. Once I have a successful (and I mean SUCCESSFUL bowel movement) the smell goes away. I don't believe this is caused by teeth, gums, halitosis, etc. This smell I am smelling is on the exhale, not the inhale of a breath. It feels like it's coming up my windpipe. I will be going to the doctor next week to discuss this issue because it is quite disgusting.

This could be an actual disease...can't think of what it is called but it is caused by bacteria your dentist will be able to prescribe an exact mouth wash to treat it. It is an actual prescription as well as an actual problem. Good luck, oh and tell your man his feet smell like fish! :)

take her to a vet. do you feed her dry cat food and leave it free for taking all the time? a cats diet is reflected greatly in those ways. i got a new cat and feed it the best i can with natural; half wet food and half dry 12 hours apart. he never smells, even when he does fart. <3 and his breath doesn't smell either. it's great! :D and i love my little fuzzy kitty! he's gotten kinda chubby, though, because it's winter. : /

Not to sound disgusting, but some people do actually have an emesis (puke) containing bile (feces). Usually if you have an impaction in your bowels and haven't had a bowel movement it comes out the other end. If this would be the case, you need to see a doctor ASAP! I'm serious, I'm a nurse and I have seen this happen before. But also you could have some kind of infection or abcess in one or some of your teeth?? Hope this helps.

Bad breath can be caused by decayed teeth. Brush your teeth regularly and see a dentist. When you brush your teeth, brush your tongue too as food particles stick in the surface of the tongue. Avoid strong foods like garlic and onion. If you continue to have a problem, you could have a lung infection, but this is extremely unlikely.

Listen I can fix that. Trust me, no one on this board has a clue what they're talking about. Do as say or you won't fix it. ... Steps
1) look up a man named Dr. Geoffrey Speiser
2)watch his videos and read his stuff.
3) order his detox kit and follow instructions.
You're welcome
