You wouldn't, unless you really care about him and he's having a "moment". If he's always, as you put it, dry with you then I suggest finding a new boyfriend.

I just enjoy his presence in silence. Do words really have to be spoken for me to fall in love with him or continue to fall in love with him? Nahh... Like last night we barely talked at all, but we did stay on the phone for quite some time. I wasn't able to talk as much because, well, I was the sleepy one since I had a really long and tiring day... so.... yeah. lol.
unless it is meee who is boring him? T_T
