My boyfriend and I have been off and on for the past few months. We have been together in total for about a year 1/2. We have been talking about getting back together for good, but I still have issues with trusting him. About a month ago I posted a personal ad. When we started talking about getting back together, I told him about the ad. He doesn't seem bothered by it, and is not asking me to delete it.. It seems strange to me that if he wants me back and wants the relationship to work that he doesn't care about the personal ad. I told him I would take it off the dating website if it bothers him, but he said it doesn't.. now I'm wondering if he really cares about being exclusive again even though he said he does.. shouldn't it bother him that I have it out there??

If there is one thing I have learned in my 30 years....it is that yo can not keep someone in a relationship they don't want to be in, that everyone makes a choice.
Have you ever thought, that he is thinking...I want her, but if she is gonna look around, that is her perogative. Admittidely I would not love the fact you have a personal ad...but nor is it my place to tell you to remove it....you either want me or not....I am not the one to make that choice

It sounds like a very unstable relationship. If you are having issues with trusting him then you probably have your reasons. Maybe he is just saying that just to see how far you go OR maybe he really means it and is politely telling you to move on.

i guess he will not care abt it anymore, since u have been on and off for several times ,he will think that u are not that presiouc anymore. If both of u break off again he will think it will have no prob getting u back since the cycle has happen again and again... so think abt it... if u need some that really care ., guess this bf of urs will not be the one

He probably thinks its a test, he probably thinks you want to see how much freedom he'll give you, but once you start going out he will ask you to take it down most likely, just now it doesn't bother him cause you aren't official yet.
