And I was also wondering if it is too late to wish him Eid Mubarak?
I just want to make sure it won't be offense or sumthing?

its totally ok for you to wish a non muslim
its just being nice and considerate
id wish you a merry christmas, happy hannukah, or happy anything else

Of course u can wish him a happy eid(Eid Mubarak) dont worry he will appreciate this alot , and this makes u a better friend in his eyes :) go for it

Just sometimes before i wished eveyone for Eid in common, is that a violation of yahoo terms. whats this? I dont think anything wrong here....

yyup go ahead but the recent Eid is only celebrate for 1 day only - that was on last Wednesday in Saudi and some other Muslim countries is not offensive at all

Eid Mubarak to you too and commonly Muslim names are Arabic names, based upon the Quran or the Names of Sahaba or Imams. But not always like in Pakistan we have people named "Allah Ditta" where Ditta mean given in Punjabi so it means "Given by Allah" or Pushtun names, which can really really boombastic like Baro Khan (Great Khan) Or they can be derived from other languages like Feroz which is a very common name which means Turquoise (the gemstone) in Turkish Usually the first name is Arabic but the Surname is non-arabic and is the Clan/tribal name like Talpur or Mir or Arain etc

It's fine and very respectful to wish all musims Eid Mubarak and no it's not late at all its still Eid today.

yea you can wish them a Happy Eid nothing wrong with that its nice of you to think of ur friend on there holiday :)

no its just totally fine to wish a person of any religion about there beliefs even i being a muslim wish my christan friends marry christmas

What a wonderful and thoughtful friend you are. I'm sure your Friend would not be in the least bit offended in fact probably more touched to the fact that you recognize the holiday for him.

yes you can, be s/he will probably not greet you back as we muslims can not congratulate on other festivals which are not ours, but i hope you do not misunderstand my intentions when i let you know this!
