All Nicaraguan cigars are cheaper here in Nicaragua. The city of Esteli (in northern Nicaragua) is where they grow the great majority of tobacco used. We also import tobacco from Cuba and mix it with ours. Our cigars have been ranked highly all over the world. Also, just as our rum (Flor de Cana), our cigars have won many awards.

The reason our cigars are expensive is because of the tax increase the U.S. has put on our cigar exports but if you come down here, they are a lot cheaper.

They are most definatly cheaper than in the U.S. That diesel fuel that runs the large ships that bring them into Florida by boat is very expensive. The cost of moving these cigars from Nicaragua to the U.S. adds costs to you the consumer. You may want to try some machine made cigars that are made with Nicaraguan tobacco. Machine mades are made in large factories in FL.
