16yr olds with Nickelodian shows having sex and getting pregnant.... Is this a good role model for our teenage girls?

Well I think its a okay role model. I mean, having a child while your a teen is your desicion. And religion should not have anything to do with it. She just might prove a point.
I don't see anything wrong with her being pregnant. And everybody makes stupid mistakes once in a while. Even if there celebrities.

Of course it is not a good role model for any teenager. I mean my little sis who is a sophmore in high school(15 yrs old) has 5 friends who are pregnant at 15 and one who already has a baby. I don't believe pregnancy among young girls in the media is the only problem but how much sex ed are they really getting in school? Why do we get so mad when we won't talk to our children and let them know all about sex

She made a mistake but I do give her credit. It would have been easy for her to keep it quiet and sneak off and terminate the pregnancy with nobody knowing. She acknowledges she made an error in judgement and is taking ownership of her error. 16 plus raging hormones and no steps to prevent pregnancy equals preggers. I think it will be a good thing for the show. To many adults don't discuss this sort of thing with their child thinking it'll never happen to them and I've got a newsflash for those parents. Teenagers have sex.

Ah people are idiots.
It was her boyfriend from schooling.
And I actually think it could end up a good thing for the youth.
The 4th season is already recorded, so if she were pregnant in the season she would be in the fifth season.
They actually thought it may be a good idea to do, and if she's up to it they want to carry out filming for the 5th season.
I think it'd be really cool.
Of course it was dumb of her, but it could prove a valuable point, like Juno, did.

it's really not a good role model...It looks as though she's in her sister's shoes...she's going to turn out to be just like her...after all the crap she's been saying about *responsibility* the sad thing is it was prolly a bet between her and her sister...to see which one could have took better care of there child...and now the baby is going to turn out to be was burned out lil' thingy thing...talk about celeb. drama...i really don't think it's a big deal i mean if this was a REGULAR person it wouldn't be a BIG deal...yeah sure they'd be called a whore and crap but SO what... It was a mistake....Well not really maybe it was meant to happen.

I think what's done is done. She is accepting responsiblity. So hopefully she dosen't turn out like Britney.
And maybe this will have kids ask questions to parents and bring up awareness about teen pregnancy.

i feel bad for her. first her sister went crazy and now shes pregnant? nickelodeon should fire her. i mean that girl from igh school musical has nudie pics all over the internet and disney didnt fire her which i think is dumb. i cant wait to have a daughter....she is never going to be able to watch tv, go online, or even think about boys haha
