I want to meet someone, but I generally just don't like to talk too much. I don't like small talk, or finding things to talk about. I'm okay with not talking and can be comfortable with someone and not have to talk.... but meeting people is obviously a problem if I don't really like to talk too much.
People think I'm bored, or disinterested, or just looking to get out of the conversation. Any suggestions? Do you think it's possible to meet someone and connect with them without talking too much about little unimportant stuff?

reminds me of a few years ago after meeting a girl my first words were "i am a man of few words, Will you or wont you." She responded "Your place or mine?" where i said "well if your gonna make such a big deal over this just forget it"

the moral is you gotta open your mouth
