sometimes i see this person at work(driver for a bank) and she knows my name and i dont know hers. how do i go about finding her name without being to obvious and mean. she is not always at the same places that i go to

The best solution to overcome your predicament is to diplomatically ask her about her name as if you are not able to recollect her name !!. Then try to link this name mentally to some thing familiar and known to you and you will not forget her name for ever !!

Ask her directly. Tell her that it's funny that all this time she's known your name and you don't know hers... and that you're embarrased about that. She'll understand because she doesn't work at the same place you do.
Or you can ask a coworker to find out for you.
