hi ummm... i have a question for the world. im a junior in high school who likes this guy who's a senior. we dont know each other at all... basically complete strangers. we do, however, have lockers in the same room and we're both there at the same times (after 2nd period and after 8th period). except i only see him for a brief minute during this time because after 2nd period i kinda have to rush because my next class is kinda far from the locker and after 8th period he gets there really early and is pretty quick in leaving. i liked him since i was a freshman but i havent said anything ever. i know people say that i should get to know him but i dont think it'll happen. I'm a Muslim who covers my hair and hes a white guy (Christian i think). im not trying to be pessimistic, but im trying to be realistic. hes graduating this year so i dont have much time. people say i should do something about i but i dont know what or how without it being weird and random. so please help! the thing is that im kinda shy and i dont know how to communicate with him without it being some random thing that suddenly came from a stranger. i know im just a junior and i'll live if i dont do anything about it but i just want the world's advice. the reason im pessimistic is because im a covered Muslim and hes white and i havent seen any white guys with Muslim girls plus im not exactly the hot white girl that he might usually go out with. and we dont know each other at all so i cant tell him i like him because he would just say that he doesnt know me at all so we probably wouldnt get together either way... so im asking for help... im debating whether i should subtly say or do something (what? and how?) or just let it go. any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!

:) If he thought anything of you and could see you for who you were then your differences would mean nothing to him. If you like him, start by simple hellos. I know you are shy, but hellos never hurt anyone . take it one step at a time. Hellos then maybe start asking him how he is and introduce yourself. Let things go from there.
We live in a very diverse nation and there are very many mixed relationships. If he doesn't respond, then just move on, it's his loss and not yours

hm...I think that you should smile at him. Then once you've smiled at him the next time you see him say hi. Then the time after that say hey whats up. And gradually begin talking to him more and more. Who knows what could happen between you and him, but you never will know if you never try.

hey ... as a Muslim there is no Dating or Relationship with other sex so... as you say you cover your hair that because Muslim treat female as Diamond or Pearl you must be covered because you are the most valuable ... in my opinion , you should be patient and wait for the Perfect Muslim guy that match you and it all come after long patience

Well, you could start off by maybe waving to him when you walk passed him. Then start giving him heys and sups. That'll give him a sign that you like him. By then, you'll be able to start good conversations. Then you can become friends. Once you're friends ask him out.

i am sorry to say this but... if he is graduating soon, he is going to go most likely to an out of state college, and even if you start dating long-distance relationships are hard and they usually don't work out. Your still very young, and like you said you'll live. Besides not knowing him well, this "crush" of yours could be just be pure infatuation.

find away to make conversation only way he'll get to know you, just don't go straight up and tell the guy you like him would make things abit odd and random

you have got to find something about him to compliment if he has a nice car find out a couple of things about his car so you have something to talk to him about. If he plays sports go to one of his games and compliment him on a play. His shirt his shoes anything......Find something about him that you think you may have in common and talk to him about it....Face it he will never talk to you unless you take the initiative.....Remember compliment him on something preferably something of substance so you can talk about he will think that you are cool if you can relate to him on his level.
