Hi, 2yrs ago when I met my boyfriend I was a UK size 10 in trousers/skirts and 12 in tops. I'm 5ft 6" and weighed about 10 stone (140lbs). Last week my boyfriend told me I had a weight problem. I'm now 13 1/2st (189lbs) and an M&S 18/20. Other than a fuller face and bit of a double chin I can't see that I'm more than just voluptuous. My measurements are 45-37-45. Am I fine or is he right please? Thanks xx

Well I must say first and foremost.. Do not compare this woman to your "ex"in any way, shape or form. I know that is easier said than done..:o).. As far as the weight issue goes.. You must determine if it a health issue, or is it a 'looks' issue with you. I agree men are very visual in all aspects of their like and relationships are no different. Is she dressing to accentuate the positives of her 'curvy' body or is she just wearing clothing that doesn't flatter her figure as much? This can be a huge thing even for you, as it is a visual aspect. Does she have the energy to go out and do the things you like now? If not, then that is a huge relationship concern altogether.. Is she comfortable with herself? Has she always had the weight? If so, then what attracted you to her to begin with, and why now has it become an issue (maybe a 'friend' said something??)?? You need to determine the 'why' then you can move into 'how' to deal, as each why will have a different 'how'..

im not going to beat around the bush here im just going to be honest, your quite overweight and although you may not feel it the truth is you are. Your initial weight of 140lbs is about right for your height so i would suggest healthy eating and excersise. You really need to do this for your own health- if you look up your height and weight on charts online you will find that your actually classed as obese, so make a new years resolution to get that weight off. good luck hun x

Depends on what you want. Is your weight causing health problems. Are you turnning heads, do you want to turn heads. Are you happy with your look? One thing for certain that is a 50 pound weight gain & to gain that much weight that fast is suppose to be bad for the heart. Good luck with what ever you decide

While you might be a bit overweight, how much of your weight is muscle, how much is water, and how much is fat? The only way to know is to go in for a physical and have the doctor evaluate your current status. If you chose to lose weight, it should be for health reasons and not to please your boyfriend.

You are fat. Don't eat so much and lose weight or you will look like a beach ball and have heart problems when you are older. Your bf was being kind. He is right.
