gamecube or ps2?

Gamecube game is obsolete now, while PS2 is still being made. The last PS2 game (according to www.ign.com) will be released in 2009. PS2 is much more versatile. PS2 wins this one hands down. Afterall, it's the bestselling console ever.

Well 1st of all gamecube is discontinued which means there will no longer be anymore new gamecube games in the US and as far as the PS2 goes yes I think you should get the PS2 and why you ask.Well the PS2 has the most games to offer than any other console on the market including the PS3 & Xbox 360.Sony has sold has sold over 120 million PS2's in the US which outnumber's the other systems sales as much as the power between a Toyota Supra and a Koenigsegg CCX.There is a new model PS2 that is coming out early 08 which will be only $99 with all the same features but some minor changes which is the top has more gloss on it and the AC Adapter is built in now.The PS2 is the most played game system in the US currently which was stated by IGN and the reason why is its the cheapest console out there,It has tons of games that are actually fun to play and it also supports DVD's which is a huge plus to most people.To the people that said PS3 I would have to disagree because Sony is haveing a hard time with the PS3 tryna sell it since there loseing alot of money off of it even at $400 & $500 and game developers have a difficult time working with the PS3's hardware they just cant figure it out yet so unless you enjoy playing low class games then dont get the PS3 just yet because im almost positive a cheaper new model is on the horizon for release.I play my PS2 the most of all my systems and only play my PS3 when I wanna watch a Blueray or play some Warhawk.Get a PS2.

if i were you i would get a ps2 because it is much more worth it, tthe gamecube has been discontinued and they dont make games for it anymore plus the ps2 has many more games and many more features

hgamecube for the younger ppl (12 -) and PS2 for te older (13-18) xbox for oldest (I have a PS2 might as well buy that instead of PS3 less money and u can play the same games.

that dude is stupid don't get a ps3 because youll have to pay 500 dollars if you wanna play ps2 games on it id get a ps2 theres alot more games for it

don't buy PS 2 save up for PS 3
and gamecube i wouln't buy because you won't really play it once you get a bit older
